Workout 1 | Week 1 - Day 1

Welcome to the first workout in this program.

 

Before you start, check that you are familiar with all the exercises in this workout, any that you’re not, be sure to check the tutorial videos.

You will need:
1 pair of kettlebells
Pull up bar or suspension trainer

 

Set 1

This is a great Kettlebell and Bodyweight circuit that will challenge you in many different ways, especially through the core.


The big new movement here is the Skater Squat, this is a test of balance, mobility AND strength, so be sure to use the video tutorial.

The key points to keep in mind are to keep the eyes fixed on a set point to aid balance and be sure to get your belly button and head stacked up over the load bearing foot. And then “find the pull” all the joints that closing have muscles that can pull them closed, use them, get tight and pull. If you simply surrender to gravity on the way down, you will really struggle.
